SUMMARY:Women's drum circle - "Self-love"
DESCRIPTION:A women’s drum circle is a safe space for women to drum together. The theme\, “Self-love” is an invitation to reflect on our own needs.\n\n\nI am thrilled to offer this space to you for our second circle of 2026! This circle is for women only\, so that it is a safe space to be heard\, to feel comfortable\, and experience drumming with a group in the best possible way. Beginners are warmly welcome! \nThe theme of “Self-love” is an invitation to reflect on how much much we love ourselves (or should I say how little?)…. Is it possible to fully love others if we don’t love ourselves first? Can we hug ourselves? How do we love our bodies? Our voices? Do we have a self-care routine? Drumming will as always allow us to fully drop into our bodies and receive messages beyond the mind. \nYou can expect meditation and visualisation\, drumming as a group and in pairs\, times to share about our feelings or experience of drumming (not compulsory\, nothing is compulsory!)\, and a drumming relaxation at the end (shamanic journey). 8 natural-skin handheld drums are available to borrow if you don’t have one. \nDrumming has been very profound and powerful for me and my deep desire to to share that experience with other women so that we can tap into our intuition and be guided in the best possible way in our everyday lives. \nThe aim is to get insights on how we can best implement some simple actions or thoughts in our everyday lives. And of course to spend two hours in a lovely energy\, feeling heard and supported by other women. \nCome and join\, you will love the experience! \nChairs are available onsite but please note that you will need to bring a yoga mat or blancket and everything to feel warm and comfy – and of course your drum if you have one! \nPlease note that this isn’t therapy\, but my practice is trauma-informed.

SUMMARY:Women's drum circle - "Moving forward"
DESCRIPTION:A women’s drum circle is a safe space for women to drum together. The theme\, “Moving Forward” will call for new opportunities.\n\n\nI am thrilled to offer this space to you. SUMMARY:Honouring our grief ~ a grief-tending ritual with Erika & Amélie
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join our Grief Tending Ceremony to take care of your wild and precious heart in a welcoming and safe space.\n\n\n“Grief is the awakening. Grief is life stirring towards itself.” Stephen Jenkinson \nYou are invited to join our Grief Tending Ceremony to take care of your wild and precious heart. \nWe offer this space to come together to honour our grief in the warm and loving arms of community. A place to share with and witness one another; welcoming our sorrow\, our love\, our pain\, and our gratitude. \nThrough gentle somatic rituals\, shared reflections\, and moments of silence and singing\, we will tend to our sorrow\, release some of the weight we carry\, and welcome healing and integration. \nYou are not alone. This is a space for you to feel held\, supported\, and seen. Your grief is valid. Your story matters. \nWe ask you to bring an open heart and\, if you feel comfortable\, a small item that symbolises your journey—a photo\, a flower\, or anything meaningful to you. \nThis ceremony is offered with deep compassion and respect. Everything offered is an invitation\, never compulsory. You are welcome to sit in silence\, to lie down and relax if you so wish. There is no pressure to speak or share. Your own self-care takes priority. \nThe arc of the day will begin with building the group container with some grounding and nourishing somatic practices\, then move into evoking and expressing grief\, followed by soothing and integration. We will end together with a warming meal. \nThere will be a maximum of 12 people for this ceremony (plus Erika and Amélie). \nAny questions\, doubts\, or something you would like to clarify before coming\, please reach out and contact us. \nExchange \nLow income: £55 (limited no. of places) \nStandard: £65 \nSupporter: £75 \nIf you feel a strong call to attend but cannot afford it please reach out to contact us and we may be able to find a solution. \nAbout Erika Tourell \nErika has been working in the field of well-being for over three decades; as a trauma-informed somatic therapist & coach\, yoga & meditation teacher\, tantra practitioner\, ritualist and circle holder. Erika’s passion for grief tending and ceremony comes from a strong desire to heal her own personal complex childhood trauma\, ancestral\, and collective cultural trauma. She has been greatly helped and inspired by many indigenous wisdom keepers and healers\, sitting in plant medicine ceremonies for over twenty years which has helped her greatly to reawaken an intimate connection with nature\, the elements\, and the other-than-human world. Learning from other traditions\, unbroken lineages and teachers\, Erika has been able to re-member and re-imagine some of her own ancestral practices of gathering together to lament our sorrows\, and to celebrate our aliveness through the offering of presence\, prayers\, song and dance. \nAbout Amélie Thévenet \nAmélie is a pychic healer and therapist working with presence\, tuning into the quantum information field\, her intuition\, Bach flowers and drumming. She particularly focuses on bringing people back to their emotions and bodies so that they can bring movement back into their life when they feel stuck. Drawing some pratices from the shamanic tradition\, she holds regular women drumming circles in London. Amélie is a space healer and does house and space energetic cleansing\, working with the energy of a space and its inhabitants for better rest\, sleep and feeling truly “at home”\, especially after life events like divorce or bereavement.

SUMMARY:Monthly women's drum circle
DESCRIPTION:Gather with other women to drum\, meditate and be together\, creating a strong sense of connexion to yourself and others.\n\n\nWomen’s drumming circle \nI am delighted to facilitate this monthly women’s drumming circle near Hammersmith at the Grove Neighbour Centre. It will take place on the last Friday of the month (7.30pm to 9.30pm). \nFriday 25th April 2025 – Se*uality and creativity \nFriday 30th May 2025 – Finding my true self \nFriday 27th June 2025 – Theme TBC \nThe themes are only indicative\, they can be a guide in our sharing times\, or not! All women welcome\, no experience necessary and drums are available to borrow. Drumming is done intuitively so there is no “technique” or specific rythm to follow. You can come to all circles or just as a one-off. This is an open group! \nIt is an opportunity to take time for yourself\, nurture your energy\, feel part of a community and empowered! \nI make sure the space is safe and secure for everyone to express their voice in the most autenthic manner. No advice is given but caring and deep listening where we hold each other and are fully present. Sharing is welcome as well as laughing\, crying\, drumming\, shouting\, singing…. \nWe start by a grounding meditation and a sharing circle before setting our intentions and drumming. There will be meditation\, sharing\, drumming\, singing…. We end with a drumming relaxation (shamanic journey). \nWe might drum for ourselves\, for others\, for the world\, for joy\, for love\, for release and more. \nThings to note: \nBring something to sit on (yoga mat\, cushion\, blancket\, sheep skin….) and make sure you wear layers or bring a warm chawl\, a blanket and warm socks to be warm and confortable. \nBring some snacks to share after the circle. We will share nibbles and a warm drink\, I am bringing herbal teas. \nYou could also bring something for the altar which you take back afterwards (crystals\, stones\, feathers\, flowers\, elements from nature\, oracles\, personal items….). \nNo experience is needed and there will be 7 drums available to borrow. Please let me know in the Notes when booking if you bring a drum or not to help me with planning. \nLocation: Grove Neighbourhood Centre\, 7 Bradmore Park Road\, W6 0DT London (closest tube stations are Hammersmith or Raventscourt Park). Free parking is available in the street. \nPlease note this is NOT therapy.
