Women’s drum circle – Honouring your grief

The invitation of the circle is to leave the outside world on the side for two hours, take time for yourself in ackowledging what you carry, and then, with meditation, sharing and drumming, leave feeling lighter, fully grounded and serene for the rest of the day.
Who is welcome?
All women are very welcome to this circle. This circle is for women only, so that it is a safe space to be heard, to feel comfortable, and experience drumming with a group in the best possible way. Beginners are warmly welcome and drums are provided.
What’s the theme of “Honouring your grief” about?
The theme is this particular circle is Honouring your grief. You may or may not be aware that you carry grief. It may be the recent or ancient loss of a loved one, the grief of a chapter of your life if you are going through a transition of any sort at the moment (in your liafe as a woman or at work for example). It may be a symbolic grief as well. Perhaps not to have been a mother, or the grief of leaving your home country. Everything is welcome.
We will hear what is present for each of us and work with the energies of the season. Grief can resurface easily at this time of the year where everything is darker and colder. Drumming will as always allow us to fully drop into our bodies and receive messages beyond the mind.
What can you expect?
There will be an invitation to check in with yourself to see how you feel (you can then choose to share it or not with the groupe). You can expect meditation and visualisation, drumming as a group or in pairs, time to share about our feelings or experience of drumming (not compulsory, nothing is compulsory!), and a drumming relaxation at the end (shamanic journey). 8 natural-skin handheld drums are available to borrow if you don’t have one.
Drumming has been very profound and powerful for me and my deep desire to to share that experience with other women so that we can tap into our intuition and be guided in the best possible way in our everyday lives.
The aim is to get insights on how we can best implement some simple actions or thoughts in our everyday lives. And of course to spend 4 hours in a lovely energy, feeling heard and supported by other women.
Others say it better than me…. here is a client testimonial:
“I have been going to Amelie’s drumming circle since a year, they have always been so wonderful and magical, providing a safe place to allow you to just be (whoever you are at that moment) and re- center, but also connect with others. I really appreciate the shamanic journey and meditations which often provide me with deep insights. I always leave more open, grounded and held/safe. It is always such a beautiful experience.”
Come and join, you will love the experience!
Chairs and cushions are available onsite but please note that you will need to bring a yoga mat or blancket and everything to feel warm and comfy – and of course your drum if you have one!
There will be a tea break so feel free to bring nibbles, biscuits, cakes or fruits to share.
Please note that this isn’t therapy, but my practice is trauma-informed.
If you are struggling financially at the moment and can’t afford a full price ticket please contact me as I have facilities to make sure everyone can attend!
