  • Women’s drum circle in Hammersmith – “Overcoming my fears”

    Two hours to drum, sing and share a shamanic journey together!This circle is for women only, so that it is a safe space to be heard, to feel comfortable, and experience drumming with a group in the best possible way. Beginners are warmly welcome! There is no technique to master, we drum intuitively from our hearts.The theme of "Overcoming my fears" is an invitation to explore what we are afraid of, from phobias to mild anxieties and self-doubt. We will look for resources in our bodies and through drumming find more courage to face it all, whilst accepting we are human beings and not always perfect! Drumming will as always allow us to fully drop into our bodies and receive messages beyond the mind.You can expect meditation and visualisation, drumming sessions, drumming as a group and in pairs, times to share about our feelings or experience of drumming (not compulsory, nothing is compulsory!), and a drumming relaxation at the end (shamanic journey). 8 natural-skin handheld drums are available to borrow if you don't have one.Drumming has been very profound and powerful for me and my deep desire is to share that experience with other women so that we can tap […]

    A safe space to express grief of any kind, share with other women, drum together and find stillness and clarity.The invitation of the circle is to leave the outside world on the side for two hours, take time for yourself in ackowledging what you carry, and then, with meditation, sharing and drumming, leave feeling lighter, fully grounded and serene for the rest of the day.Who is welcome?All women are very welcome to this circle.
