An afternoon of drumming collectively to let go of tensions and feeeling re-energised! Come and join me for a whole afternoon of women's drum circle! This is a safe and secure space to take a welcome pause in our busy lives, tune into ourselves, express how we feel, and drum to shake that energy and bring back movement into our lives! The Spring energy will support us into putting things into action in our daily lives. Drumming allow us to "switch off" the mind, and move from overthinking into feeling and letting the inner wisdom of our bodies to express itself. There isn't any other option but letting go of tensions and stress! Expect some gentle guided meditation, plenty of drumming, in group or by pairs, times to share how we are feeling, and a nice drumming relaxation (aka shamanic journey) at the end. Drumming is done in an intuitive manner. This is not a workshop to teach any musical technique! But rather an opportunity to try and experience first-hand the healing that the vibration of the sound does to your body and mind! We will break for lunch in the middle of the session so please bring food to […]

  • Women’s drum circle in Hammersmith – “Drum and movement”

Grove Neighbourhood Centre, Bradmore Park Road, London, Royaume-Uni 7 Bradmore Park Road Upper Hall, London, W6 0DT, London

A women's drum circle is a safe space for women to drum together. The theme around movement will make us explore sounds and moves. This circle is for women only, so that it is a safe space to be heard, to feel comfortable, and experience drumming with a group in the best possible way. Beginners are warmly welcome! The theme of "Movement" is an invitation to move whilst drumming, explore the relationship between sound and moves, how we react to different rythms and how we allow our bodies to express themselves in a safe space. Moving very often brings a different perspective on a situation, and helps shifting blocked emotions. Drumming will as always allow us to fully drop into our bodies and receive messages beyond the mind. You can expect meditation and visualisation, drumming sessions, drumming as a group and in pairs, times to share about our feelings or experience of drumming (not compulsory, nothing is compulsory!), and a drumming relaxation at the end (shamanic journey). 8 natural-skin handheld drums are available to borrow if you don't have one. Drumming has been very profound and powerful for me and my deep desire to to share that experience with other […]
