A women's drum circle is a safe space for women to drum together. The theme around movement will make us explore sounds and moves. This circle is for women only, so that it is a safe space to be heard, to feel comfortable, and experience drumming with a group in the best possible way. Beginners are warmly welcome! The theme of "Movement" is an invitation to move whilst drumming, explore the relationship between sound and moves, how we react to different rythms and how we allow our bodies to express themselves in a safe space. Moving very often brings a different perspective on a situation, and helps shifting blocked emotions. Drumming will as always allow us to fully drop into our bodies and receive messages beyond the mind. You can expect meditation and visualisation, drumming sessions, drumming as a group and in pairs, times to share about our feelings or experience of drumming (not compulsory, nothing is compulsory!), and a drumming relaxation at the end (shamanic journey). 8 natural-skin handheld drums are available to borrow if you don't have one.
